The title says it all. Doing some browsing online I found a socket 754 processor that said, “the only windows-compatible 64-bit processor”. So are the 90mn not currently functional with this version of Windows?

Thanks. Interestingly enough, newegg’s description for the 3200+ doesn’t say windows compatible, and for one of the 754 Athlon 64’s said ‘the only windows compatible 64-bit processor’, hence my mild confusion.

I would guess that was verbage when the processor was first released and it has never been updated. My AMD 939 based PC would be very suprised to find out it can’t run Windows, since it has been running XP since I assembled it in November.
