# ADMINS: Can I announce about the Wally buttons yet?

Still waiting on sdimbert and whoever other individuals may be in a position to approve my request to make 1.25" inch :wally buttons to hand out at Doper gatherings. I should have added that with the potential quantities we’re looking at (more than a handful) I’ll probably have to ask for a voluntary donation to cover the cost of materials and shipping. I’d need to know if that’s okay so I can start making these. I feel that this is my way of honoring Wally’s memory… :sniff: Thanks.

Hi Tuba;
Thanks for your quick reply. No, I haven’t announced it anywhere (unless you consider this post as an announcement). I’d like to pop up a short announcement in MPSIMS, but since I won’t be taking individual orders I’ll just include a very short reminder in my sig file telling Doper get-together organizers to contact me privately. In the meantime, as I mentioned previously, if you are an admin or a moderator, please email me for your own button.

I’d love one, Lani, can those of us who haven’t been able to get to a Doper meeting just buy one privately from you?? That’s a wonderful way to honor both Wally, and the Chicago Reader in making the ‘putz smiley’. I can’t wait to see one.
