# Adobe Premiere 5.1: Can I export a MPEG into AVI or Quick Time?

Okay, here’s the deal. I have a Dell 1.3 GHz PC runnimg Windows ME with Adobe Premiere 5.1. My comp also has Quick Time 5 installed, so I am able to export projects as QT files.

BTW: I also have Windows Movie Maker, but it it’s about as complex as iMovie.

Now, if I had a Mac, all I would have to do is use DV and iMovie. I don’t, so I have to use my Dazzle USB capture card, which only captures in MPEG.

I read in the Premiere manual that while the programme can support MPEG, it can’t export in that format. My actual (maybe stupid) question is this:

Can I export MPEGs into AVI or QT format?
