Revised theory. **ZPG Zealot** grew up in a Brave New World esque society–the kind of place where words like “family” or “mother” and “father” are Bad Words and children are to be conditioned, not raised. Hey, I may sound crazy but you won’t think so when you see the Henry Ford shrine in her closet.

At the very least, she could have used more hugs.

The **ZPG Zealot** school of thought is that we teach children to rely upon the hug within, as well as the bottle within, and the pacifier within.

This is highly ironic from someone who has advocated infanticide, is it not?

Once again, nobody adopts under those conditions.

All of which can be found only by embracing the blood that they share with their birth parents, I’m guessing?

Are you perhaps confusing the concept of “unconditional love” for that of “unconditional approval?”

Yes, but her viewpoints sound very much like traditional old-world gypsy viewpoints. Maybe we should assume that we’re implying “old world” gypsy views as opposed to “of gypsy descent”. After all, there are many evangelical Christians who don’t believe in stoning loose women, but we would still refer to that belief as an evangelical Christian one and to people who believe in it as evangelical Christians.

Maybe instead we should stop generalizing about a group of people - be they adoptive parents or “gypsies” (generally considered an offensive term, btw) or evangelicals.

Long enough.

This is pointless.

**ZPG Zealot** , you have had ample time to explain your position, even after being told explicitly that you needed to explain yourself . Instead, you have refused to explain anything while launching more attacks on other people with a misuse of words like “lies” and “unconditional love” and any number of other phrases, giving them meanings that have no connection to the ways that such words are actually employed in the English speaking world, (or their translations anywhere else in the world).

This is simply a never ending merry-go-round and the paint is beginning to flake off the carousel horses.

It ends, here. If you wish to post on this topic in the future, be prepared to explain your position or do not post.

Closed.
