Any idea how much “without pay” will actually amount to?
According to this site, Peterson’s 2014 salary is $14,400,000. Assuming that the salary is divided into 16 game checks (I can’t remember if NFL players receive a paycheck on the bye week), that’d be a weekly check of $900,000 (before taxes, of course), or a six-week hit of $5,400,000.
