# Ads on Tapatalk now?

A little while ago, I got a Tapatalk update that made ads start appearing, despite my having a paid membership and a paid version of Tapatalk. I did a little research and found an article (I can provide the link later). The article suggested that this was a “feature” that Tapatalk snuck in and enabled by default.

Is there a server-side setting to disable this?

I’ll see what I can find out. I got an ad for Tapatalk myself today and I wasn’t even on a mobile device.
