Adult movies on Cinemax

Maybe once a year my friends and I will get good and drunk off cheap pink wine and have a hell of a good time watching whatever’s on Skinemax - we love to play “spot the implant scar” and “guess that ‘plot’ development”. I admit, in the course of this we’ve seen one or two that are actually not bad - I can’t remember any titles, but every so often they do something along the lines of a crappy R-rated movie that just shows a little more in the sex scenes - it’s not a turn-on, but it’s something I might watch if I couldn’t sleep - head and shoulders above most of that crap.

Oh, and nothing, yet nothing, is funnier than Red Shoe Diaries after most of a bottle of white zin. Hee hee!

Lord of the G-String. I can’t believe other people have seen that train wreck. Hilarous.

Sorry to hijack your thread, mister.

They cut the money shot on PPV cable porn too. I always wondered why they did that.

That’s actually a decent question in and of itself. Many PPV porn flicks show absolutely everything, including erect penis, clitoris, insertion, etc., then cut out the finale. I wonder what gives with that.

Nothing, nothing, can be as mind-numbingly terrifying, as horrifying, as disgusting as Playmate of the Apes. Nothing.

We tend to put the HBO movies on in the background on Friday nights when we’re on the computers or whatever. This stopped when one day I looked up and said “Hey, we’ve seen this already.” And Jaime responded. “No, I don’t think so.” And then I spent 5 minutes describing the “plot” until he remembered.

It was just too sad all around.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Last night I did a “fast forward” preview of a flick called SPIDER BABE I almost busted a nut laughing!:p:p:p:p:p:p
Did you notice a lot of those Cinemax sorto-pornos star Misty Mundae. Wouldn’t these people make more money in real porn?

I also remember some movie on Cinemax where at the start of the movie, a woman was wear a white bra and matching briefs. She eventually took off the briefs and put on a black thong.

That movie gets remade a lot.

Also this thread is old enough that its parents are concerned about what it sees on late night TV.

I saw a similar one with a twist. The woman took off a black thong and put on white briefs. Didn’t expect that…

That’s some M Night Shyamalan shit right there.

Panties, in a twist!

Ask about her rosebud

I too prefer Asia Carerra to Shannon Tweed, but haven’t seen recent pictures of either, so maybe not.

Misty Mundae made some explicit films, but mostly she did lesbian stuff. She had one film where she was more or less date raped by a dominatrix, that’s a lot harder than anything I think you’d find on Cinemax. Not for the sex per se, but that it’s clear that she doesn’t like what’s being done to her.

I suspect the appeal of softcore cable porn is for those who like to see attractive nude women, but dislike the close-up gynecology exams you get in hardcore.

I mean, I think. So I’ve been told. I certainly never watch such filth myself! Excuse me, I’m going to read the Bible now…

Less risk of STDs for one.

It’s quite possible that Ms. Mundae made the calculation that the extra money for each “hard scene” was not worth it to her, and that she also had “plausible deniability” that she was actually having sex on film - that she was just like any Hollywood actress and was able to maintain her hopes that she could move up in the ranks.

In other words, young people who’ve begun to have urgers, but not old enough to find the… erm, visceral bits not gross.

Spoiler alert: no-one could find it!

She worked specifically for one production company that did parodies and campy soft ore. Who knows maybe she made more money with them. She doesn’t have the typical pornstar look so this might have been more lucrative.

Her real name is Erin Brown and for around the last 15 years she’s been in mostly low budget horror movies.

Looks like she was (in a way) successful, It looks like she’s pretty consistently busy. Sure, it’s not roles that Meryl Streep turned down, but plenty of struggling actors would kill to get 3 low-budget films a year.

Indeed. When I moved in with my housemates in October, 1981, I was fairly stunned to discover that my roommate was an ardent fan of The Ugly George Hour of Truth, Sex and Violence.

It was…elating and disturbing.

I’ve seen Ugly George Urban a few times at trade shows. ( I’m a cinematographer ). Indeed, he would walk the floor at The Javits Center, ignoring all males who stared at him in abject horror and flirting up every woman in sight.

Whatta pig.
