To the Greek scholars: I appreciate your input. I was going to tell you to piss off but then I remembered that I was planning to reply in the affirmative regarding the use of Greek plurals in that other thread and thought I should make an effort at being consistent.

- “Those people” being, of course, people who wear other people’s monograms, like they were hand-me-downs. As Tabula Rasa pointed out, hand-me-downs are best at several generations remove and in the same family. Otherwise you could have gotten them at the Salvation Army store.
