Advice needed: Golf clubs for a 15-year-old kid

We have plenty of used clubs in our thrift shop, they are usually a dollar each & plenty of
balls. Nice clubs & nice balls, cheap at your local thrift shop.

I would opt for a used set of good clubs over a new set of not so good clubs. I played with an old set of original model Pings as a teen for years and dropped several strokes from my handicap during the time I used them (plus I won the Junior Club Championship:D). Check on ebay and in golf shops for used clubs in top brands like Titleist, Hogan, Mizuno, Ping, etc. You can get a pretty good set of old clubs for a reasonable price.

BF Explained it better than I could. The professionals, look at the swing and take measurements and the shaft and grip are fitted accordingly.

Thanks BF.
