Way to go, **G O**. Your touching story of the proposal inevitably reminded me of the night I proposed to my wife, and the circumstances were eerily similar. It wasn’t my wife’s birthday, but other than that, very similar. Enjoy your lives together. ---

Congratulations! My husband proposed to me on my birthday. We went to Renfest and got rained on half the day, drank a bunch of beer, and had a fabulous time. Then we went to dinner, and out for drinks after that. He surprised the hell out of me with a ring box, and it was a perfect moment. In a series of perfect moments that make up our marriage. I wish you both much happiness! (And we went to Vegas and got married in a cheapo chapel. Heaven!) ---
