This fix may not be in your skillset. If $ is the issue, call a friend or relative to look into the problem. If money isn’t a limiting factor, call a service tech. ---

It’s nine years old. The company no longer makes it, or parts. Repair costs as much as replacement. ---

Since the thread title refers to an “Advice-plugged drain” maybe we should stop giving advice and see if the advice in the drain will gradually dissolve and unplug the drain. Sorry, couldn’t resist.
