Well, I’ve finally had it with my (\*&^ voice-mail. I’m losing business because (a) it doesn’t work very well; and (b) a lot of people hang up on it. Does anyone have some advice about choosing an answering service? Obviously I want something reliable and friendly to my callers. How much can I expect to pay? Is it worth it? Any reccomendations? (I am a solo practitioner attorney in the NYC area.) Thanks in advance!! ---

Find ten other solo practitioner attorneys in the NYC area and ask them who they use. That’s my sole piece of advice. ---

Buy one of our digital auto-attendant voice mail systems (under $1000!). We even make backup systems for your voice mail for people like you who may need to save calls on a regular basis. Plus, you help keep a fellow Doper in business! 😉
