I purchase most of my auto parts at Advance Auto. They always seem to have what I need, or for special things, can obtain it within a day or so, for a decent price, with helpful, friendly counter people. I’m glad the OP doesn’t work in the store near me! ---

I’m glad it only sucksssss. If it were the case that it sucksssssssss, I’d have to reconsider shopping there or recommending it as a place of employment. ---

Same here. The staff at the local Advance stores have always been courteous to me. (Unlike the local NAPA, where you apparently have to know a secret handshake or password to get waited on.) ---

NAPA doesn’t need to be nice to civilians because they charge so much more for parts that they know you won’t come back. ---
