He deserves a good kicking just for his job title. “Director of Issues Analysis” indeed. In the spirit of things: There’s only three people awarded the Victoria Cross and bar. Two of them were medics: [Noel Godfrey Chavasse](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noel_Godfrey_Chavasse) (and he got an MC too) and [Arthur Martin-Leake](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Martin-Leake) The third was [Charles Upham](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Upham). It’s fair to say he was more a warrior than a healer. So yeah, it isn’t all about the killing. ---

Wow. Criticizing the choice of this man for a Medal of Honor is stupid enough, but using the word “feminizing” to describe it betrays either incredible stupidity or a truly modern and progressive use of the word “feminizing”.
