They wish. More like 3 hours – they were not in Atlanta, they were at Moody AFB which is in Valdosta, almost in Florida. Not exactly a place where you can just melt into the population, it would take them 3 to 4 hours’ drive to make it to either Atlanta or Orlando where that would be more doable.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they wound up lynched.
Depending on their ethnicity and skin tone, they might be able to blend in.
