> OK, I’m wracking my brains trying to think of the Beatles/Snow White song you have in mind, and I’m coming up blank. You’re not thinking of the Marseillaise/All You Need is Love, are you?
>
> (speaking of which…the Marseillaise in **Casablanca** would’ve been a good choice for the list)

Listen,
do you want to know a secret?
Do you promise not to tell?

Were are standing by a wishing well.

John and Paul put that first part of the song in as tribute to SWat7D.

> I want to bring up something I mentioned earlier that no one addressed. What the heck is with the \*High Noon \* theme , **Do not Foresake Me, Oh My Darlin’** , which weighed in at an unbelieveable #25?

That was one of the few songs on the program with which I am unfamiliar. However, I was surprised that as I was watching this show with Mr. Del, who is a big film fan but not a particular fan of musicals, this was the _one_ song that made him completely emotional. “I love this song! I’m so glad they included this song! This has always been one of my favorite songs!” This got a big WTF? from me, but perhaps it does appeal to a certain kind of movie fan. Who knows? But there was at least one person watching who was thrilled with it.

If it’s any consolation to those of you who were wishing to see instrumental themes, it’s my guess that they are waiting to milk this idea even more by eventually doing a “Top 100 Themes” list.

We were however rather proud of ourselves, because one of our hobbies is to each make a guess of one thing for these lists, and the person whose guess comes in the highest wins. We got #1 and #2 for this list (I was #1, yay!).

You know, I’d like to say that I love the Sound of Music. I don’t really want to, but I do anyway. I was happy to hear the songs from that movie. Julie Andrews just about walks on water as far as I am concerned. That said, isn’t “Chim Chim Cheree” the best song from _Mary Poppins_? I agree with the person who said that it seemed like several times they got the right film, but the wrong song.

> And I should add that Tex Ritter was John Ritter’s father. Trivia like that is _always_ relevant.

and Tex’s TV show had the first TV appearance of Johnny Cash, who of course died the same day as John Ritter
