# Africa Countdown II:  PEACE!

Congo and Rwanda signed a peace agreement today in South Africa. This compliments the peace agreement the govt signed with Uganda and its rebels a short time back. I’m so pleased - especially since we are moving to Kinshasa in two weeks.

I could post this in the Great Debates area so we could discuss the real possibilities of peace in this Central African county… I won’t because “think negative, get negative”.

Packers come tomorrow and I have to go back to sorting all my stuff. :give peace a chance: lalala!

Well, given the size of Congo, the two recent peace agreements are more “I promise not to slap you silly, small country to the East”-agreements. But it’s good to see peace initiatives in the region nonetheless.
