I kinda agree with you on that commercial. That dog goes running across a huge bride, then through a tunnel? However, we once had a couple of dogs that got out. One was allowed out in the yard with supervision and would occasionally disappear to inspect the neighbors’ garbage, but wouldn’t go far. However, the two together took off and disappeared. They were gone a week, before someone spotted them 2 miles away. Dad was able to get them back, but he thought they were gone for good. There’s one that’s been playing constantly on GameTV recently, for an online casino. It’s a breathy distorted voice ‘singing’ ‘get more, get Wildz, get more’ over and over again, while a CGI gorilla dances. As terrible and annoying as my description makes it sound, it’s actually much worse. ---

I don’t really have anything against the Geico “problems with our neighbors fencing” ad, except for the fact that the dude looks a little too much like Jerry Falwell Jr. I keep looking for the pool boy to make an appearance… ---

What is it with the current glut of mushmouthed children? Were commercial children always unintelligible or are my ears getting to old to understand them? Are Sonic boy and pizza-to-your-car girl supposed to be adorable? I’ll admit Sonic Boy has gotten more intelligible with each commercial which isn’t really an improvement because now you can hear his smarmy "cuteness’. And don’t forget to get the fuck offa my lawn! ---
