The Spectrum commercials are sure played to death…maybe just for us who have Spectrum. The latest has the two dork neighbors coming clean with their “secrets” with the first taking off a tacky wig to tell the other that he’s bald. The next line from the other guy was pretty funny…“I haven’t read any of the books in my house.” I laughed and thought of all the talking heads on the news being interviewed from home in front of their book cases full of thousands of books! ---

There’s currently a Snickers ad where a guy in a t-shirt and white underwear walks into his backyard with guests present and the joke is that he’s so used to not dressing up due to COVID he forgets he’s severely under-dressed. But the problem is you can clearly see his penis bulge in his underwear, and I’m not talking “Athletes wearing tights” bulge I’m talking “the Chris Hemsworth in Vacation gag bulge bulge”. If they CGIed the logo onto the scene they should have CGIed his bulge out. ---

Several beat me to it with the “GET YOUR WET TEDDY BEARS HERE!” Online betting and casino commercials are everywhere. Not that the commercials are bad, the product is. They’re making it too easy for the sheep to get fleeced and I fear there are going to be homes lost and marriages broken over this. I’m cool with casinos, I love going myself. But gambling from your phone 24/7 is too easy and too tempting. ---

I’m clearly not in the target market, but what made ReMax decide that people sitting on a couch while looking at a virtual tour on a tablet and saying “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!” is the best way to demonstrate that they can handle posh real estate listings? ---
