Commercials with couples dancing together in their homes - especially older couples - ping my cringe meter into the red. But now there is one that rattles my marrow. Watch this video (for the medication Evenity) and keep your eyes on the man. He reeks of jackassery. I see him dance and I fear for my TV’s safety. “Evenity” sounds like a name for one of those over-the-counter supplements that are promoted as “adaptogens”, supposedly restoring your system to homeostasis by magical means. “With Evenity, you can return to what passes for normal, no matter what your medical problem! Ask your voodoo doctor if Evenity is right for you.” ---

I’ve been seeing a lot of “down there care” commercials for TP lately. At least two different brands, tho I don’t recall which they are. One is particularly gross, with a woman being drawn into a giant mass of spaghetti? Or something. But really, _down there care_?? I guess that’s better than “Wipe your ass with our paper” but not by much. ---

They have decided to be worse than the Charmin bears, who seem to spend most of their time pooping. I hope these ads aren’t successful, so we don’t have to see more of this kind of nastiness. ---

Hell, when my cats ate wet food from a can, if there was any left over in the can, I’d put a cover on it and put it in the fridge. Then I’d serve it to my cats the next day. The fridge is a perfectly normal place for pet food. ---
