I saw a commercial last night on Reelz (of Pooph fame!) that was hideous. I don’t remember what the product was but it was a woman talking to her thumb. The thumb joint opened up to form a mouth which would open and speak to her, but since there weren’t any teeth it just looked exactly like someone had sliced open her thumb and the cut was talking. Just watching it made me cringe in pain. ---

Oh I hate that commercial. It’s for a website to get house hold carpentry/plumbing and such done. “Thumbtack”, maybe? ---

Wow, just changed the channel and was met by an angry white-haired lady yelling at a bearded guy about Medicare Part C. She was seriously worked up about it for some reason. What little I saw of the acting was delightfully awful; I hope I can catch the whole commercial. ---

Very Minor complaint. The Duluth jeans ad with the dude on a ski run. Now, dont get me wrong- Duluth is a great company with great stuff. But only morons wear cotton pants in the snow. ---

The Jim Beam commercial where the entire bar is singing Sweet Caroline as if it was going to usher in the Second Coming. They aren’t watching a baseball game, nor is it a party. Just everyone, and I mean everyone, is singing as loud as they can. And the expression on the woman’s face when she comes out of the bathroom: it’s like, “OK everyone has been replaced with pod people while I was peeing. I hope I can get to the door before anyone notices.” Are they going to keep singing all night? Why? ---

Energy Transfer, which apparently owns a bunch of pipelines (among other things), just had an overly lengthy and heavy-handed ad run during the Macy’s parade featuring a Vaguely Creepy Guy following a soon-to-be mom and dad around lecturing them about how terrible hospitals and homes would be without oil and gas products. 🙄 It won’t surprise me in the slightest if their next ad has the Vaguely Creepy Guy hassling the parents because the kid’s blankie is cotton instead of polyester. ---

[The Verizon Carolers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy-nD489p-4). It’s one of my favorite carols and I usually listen to it ONLY on Xmas day or eve, so I really hate the commercial, ESPECIALLY all the repetitions. Yes, I know it’s been used in commercials before and the original tune is a song about Spring. Still 🤬 ---

“Our son is non-verbal and one day we lost sight of him and we found him near the road. So we bought an Alexa.” Huh? What the hell is a speaker going to do to save your child from getting hit from a car? It’s not Rosie the Robot, ferchrissakes. I really don’t get it. ---

This ad song isn’t so much annoying as it is hilarious. It’s an ad for Paul Bunyan Plumbing and Drains here locally. The voices turn it into more of a dirge than anything else. I’m easily amused, I guess.
