I want this gen z off my lawn/screen. There is an ad for a drug-for allergies I think with a woman with big headphones pushing herself and her music through a crowd of people. There’s on spot when a couple of children run past her and she navigates around them, but she’s not pushing. Of course singing out loud to her private music is mildly rude. But there’s a lot of other ambient noise, like a leaf blower, cars, etc, so it’s not really interrupting anyone. Not as rude IMO as people driving around with loud thumping music from their vehicles. That shit penetrates through walls. ---

If I never see another commercial with Tna Fey and her body doubles it will be too soon. And the Life Alert commercial seems to make folks who are having an accident or health crisis seem silly. Those services CAN save lives. Did for my mother anyway. ---

We went to see _Dune 2_ yesterday. In addition to the coming attractions, there was a commercial for diabetes medicine. It’s annoying to see a TV commercial in a movie theatre, first of all. But this one said, ‘Not for people who have Type 1 Diabetes or children.’ It’s annoying that they did not enunciate what should have been a comma. I’m like, ‘What, you can’t take this drug if you have children?’ ---

Granted you don’t need to keep them all, but you also don’t need to purchase specific plasticware. Nor does your butter/margarine need to come in a plastic tub. We’ve gone back to butter, but I’m assuming margarine is still available in sticks, just like butter. Revisiting this Progressive commercial that was discussed for several posts over a month ago… I recently saw this commercial yet again (not sure if it was airing or if I was watching an older DVR’d show), and one thing led to another and I came to learn it contains an Easter egg. A phone number of 618-437-7425 appears on the dumpster, and it’s a real number of sorts that leads to an in-universe gag recording by the Dr. Rick character. I intended to claim that I didn’t think it sounded interesting enough for me to actually call it, but in checking my facts for this post I see this commercial is more than a year old so I did go ahead and make sure the number and gag were still active. They are, and indeed it is not worth calling, but I felt obligated to pass all this along since the commercial had come up in the thread. 🙃 ---

Commercial for Outback Stikehouse. For some reason a table of morans yell in unison: “Oy oy oy!”. Now, I don’t know if Australians do this for real, but we don’t need it in America. We already have plenty of annoying traits. Thanks! ---

There was a largish group of Aussies at an L.A. Kings hockey game years ago. Now, there were no Australian players on either team or who were part of the coaching staff, but periodically, they’d vomit out the Oi Oi Oi chant. And the repetitions became more frequent the drunker they got. It was mega-annoying. ---

I’m done with the starving Jewish holocaust victims. They are all old, living in dire conditions. Not sure where. And, I agree they need help. Putting Mike Huckabee in the ad is not convincing me to I need to donate. He’s a horrible grifter whose political life is over, he apparently missed the memo. Then he spat out that daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. What a crying shame. Someone needs to tell that charity to lose him, forthwith. I wouldn’t give any money to anything connected with him. Go back to your Relaxium ads, Mike. The starving Jews do not need you. ---

It’s probably this [one](https://www.ispot.tv/ad/1hVw/international-fellowship-of-christians-and-jews-elderly-survival-box-ft-mike-huckabee) , I’ve definitely seen it ( and others for this organization) on TV although I don’t know which stations. ---
