I see them all on late night Law and Order, can’t remember if it is CHARGE or WeTV or Sundance, but yeah, every hour, one more 5 minute sad commercial. You know that hideous Jardiance commercial with the terrible side effects? My doctor just put me on it. I’ll let you all know if my taint starts to rot off. I really hope it helps with my A1C, though. Jeebus. 🙄 ---

Effective today, online sports betting is legal in North Carolina. So for the past week there has been a flood of commercials for all of the online betting services. FanDuel is particularly annoying; they must have a massive advertising budget because I’ve been seeing (or rather, fast-forwarding through) two ads during the same commercial break. ---

Back in the 60s I used to occasionally watch the Cubs games on TV, because I was a Chicago Northsider, That’s the extent of any interest I ever had in sports. Any betting I would do would be the equivalent of throwing darts at a wall, which I’m sure is the way that these online betting games would prefer I bet anyway. And since I wouldn’t watch the games anyway, this would not increase my “enjoyment”. ---

As I have mentioned earlier, my crotch did rot and I spent a week in the hospital getting pumped full of antibiotics. My insurance won’t pay for Tradjenta and so I have been without diabetes meds for about a year. My A1C is indicating it’s insulin time. Sorry. It makes me feel better to bitch. Back to your regularly scheduled annoying commercial thread. ---

A couple of commercials that are annoying because I don’t pay attention to commercials (if possible) so I mis-hear what they’re saying. 1. Someone sings ‘I have type 2 diabetes but I handle it well…’ It always sounds like she’s singing _tattoo_ diabetes. 2. Pedia Sure commercial: A kid says his mom is worried about his growth. I always here it as ‘worried about my _girls_.’ I know that there’s another one or two, but those are the ones I can think of now. ---

This happens to me too all the time, only I find my version of the commercials much funnier. Like Jaime Lynn Sigler having “relaxing MS”. There are many, many others but this one popped quickly into my head. P.S. It’s _relapsing_ MS.
