I don’t know if these run on TV, but they’ve taken over my tablet between levels of the various games I play - women obsessed with how their laundry smells. The ads are either for Downy or Gain. The one that really drives me up a wall includes a young woman sniffing her dress as she rides on a train, pulling a hoodie out of the hamper and taking a deep sniff _(It’s still fresh!!!)_ and standing at the grill when a friend (I assume) comes up and sniffs her blouse. Really?? The other is the GEICO _two-truths-and-a-lie_ ads with the caveman that runs on Prime video far too often. Make it stop!!! ---

I guess I just don’t get why they can’t mention Geico around the caveman. Sure they wronged him, but that was a long time ago, and it is a game! Easy points! “The company you hate” is the only clue needed. And as for Mr Dogg, I’ve slways had the feeling that it was just a modern example of when I was a kid, and the adults completely didn’t understand what was cool and looked like clueless idiots trying. There is a radio ad for some internet provider where the female narrator uses the term “incredibly chonky chonkers”. WTF is a chonky chonker? Googles it… nothing. Had to hear the ad a few more time to figure out they were trying to come up with their own slang word for large download. No, just no. ---

Miebo! Oh yeah! Sick to death of this one- the annoying voice over saying Miebo, oh yeah! over and over trying to sound like a porn actor. Then some show this woman looking at her eyes in the mirror, grinning like she’s on a lithium drip. I’ve gone from never hearing of the product to being sick to death of it in record time. ---

I don’t know how common it is elsewhere, but 'round my work place (dog daycare and boarding) a “chonk” is basically a fat dog. ---

Really?? Hee, I get a kick out of that one, but mostly because of the smellee. I love the expressions she gets while people are sniffing her. Also “take that you little goblins”. The one irking me more than usual is for some bro product; a betting site, maybe, or NFTs. What’s the cruise line commercial they love to run endlessly during football games? Where the annoyingly anime-voiced singer goes “Make me cola cola”, or whatever she is actually singing? I hate that one! Every time! ---

It’s copying a song “Oh,Yeah” that was used in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. Miebo hits on the double beat preceeding those words. Yes, it’s stupid it was stupid in the movie. Gain is abhorrent. And it permiates. When I was bagging groceries I would be careful, don’t bag with food. ---
