Okay, Just to reiterate that two of the absolute WORST commercials of this century (regardless of when you think it started) are: 1. The USAA Insurance commercial with Rob Gronkowski and Sam Elliot that involves Gronk being gone “a coupla days” and leaving the “important contact info” on the fridge. We all love Gronk and Sam, but this travesty has the production value and acting ability of a special education class Christmas pageant (no offense); and 1. The Amazon ad with the long lost Edgar brother working as a stage sweeper (?) prompting a hat check girl to order him a sports coat which allows him to aurally butcher “What The World Needs Now” in an otherwise empty Fox Theater in Atlanta while the hat check girl weeps. God save us from these ad wizards. ---

Lately I’ve been gettin an ad on websites for some sort of “Toyota e-drama”. I don’t know anything else about what it’s supposed to be for, because aside from those two words, everything else in the ad is in an Asian language. It’s not even consistent in which Asian language it is-- I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Korean and Vietnamese in addition to Chinese characters. Sometimes the ads feature people who, from the presentation, look like they’re supposed to be big celebrities, but I have no idea who they are. ---

I thought the Kars for Kids commercials were gone. But it’s a jinx, this thread has brought them back. I’ve seen them three times today on the so called History Channel, which has Ancient Aliens on all day. Something going on there? ---

Trivago has a new ad. I think it’s the same guy that many people found skeevy, except now he has giant, super white dentures / implants that barely fit in his mouth. If teeth can be a parody by themselves, these are them. ---

POPPI “soda” I obviously don’t know what this stuff is, but, even allowing for that, this commercial is stupid and annoying. First, they mumble, and AFAIK, there is no closed captioning, so I don’t even understand why you can’t drink “soda” during the week. Is this some new mommy thing? Second, if sugared “soda” is bad somehow, this stuff has 5 grams, as opposed to zero in diets. Third, just buy the kid her damn sofa! And fourth, I can’t understand the clerk’s mumbling at all. Is there supposed to be a joke about the strange lady smuggling in her POPPI? (who doesn’t seem to be a friend of the woman, because why wouldn’t she have said something first? Is she going to share? So much stupidity, and in a mere thirty seconds. I still don’t know why I would want to buy your product. ---
