Liberty Insurance keeps finding ways to make their commercials more and more insipid. First it was all those earnest people who don’t understand how insurance works. Then they added the word "Liberty’ sung stupidly 4 times. Trying for the Farmer’s or Nationwide jingle recognition, I’m sure. Now they have gotten rid of the earnest people who don’t understand insurance and replaced them with flat out stupid people like the guy who throws his wallet into the river and the “reporter” who repeats what the narrator said, only reporter style. People dissing Payton Manning while these dumbass commercials continue to air. The injustice! ---

Trying to sell me a vehicle based on getting an award for “best initial quality” does nothing for me. If the vehicle is “initially” just fine but has all kinds of problems 6 months, a year, 2 years later, then it’s a piece of crap. ---

The Jack in the Box ad with the construction workers shaking their giant asses is just fucking wrong. Why they would think someone would watch this and then go eat at their restaurants is beyond my ken. ---

Therefore sitting in a massage chair all the time will make you not stress out about insurance. I think Geico’s advertising people don’t get enough oxygen in their offices or something. ---

Just saw another annoying one that’s currently in rotation. Looks like it’s for some type of cell phone that doesn’t flash when taking pictures cause flashes are annoying or something? Anyways, they use the theme from Flash Gordon by Queen which makes absolutely no sense outside of it contains the word “flash”. Otherwise they still play the lyrics “he’s for everyone one of us, stands for everyone of us, he saves with a mighty hand…” which relates to unwanted camera flashes by… ??? ---

Remember that people of a certain age are now leading advertising campaigns and will lobby to have favorite tunes from their youth in commercials. They probably assume no one will listen to the lyrics, other than “Flash! Ahh-ahhh!”. Also, agree - annoying commercial. ---
