They do seem to be selling them as investment. But many people do buy silver as apocalyptic funds, so who knows. ---

As I said, there are many other places where one could buy gold and silver. You don’t need U.S. Money Reserve for that. ---

A new OmegaXL commercial claims that people have been taking it for over 20 years. Funny how I never heard of it until John Walsh returned to TV. ---

Lately, I’ve been seeing commercials for something called the Wellness Company ([example](https://www.ispot.tv/ad/gTRo/the-wellness-company-medical-emergency-kit-doctors-say)) that sells a kit containing several prescription medications (including amoxicillin-clavulanate, azithromycin, doxycycline and, interestingly, ivermectin). It annoys me that they can sell this stuff without the customer needing a doctor to prescribe any of these specifically. ---

In theory 🙄 they do- the sucker, err I mean the customer fills out an online consultation, a “real” Doctor reads it and does a prescription. Shady yes, but legal for now. ---

How can anyone possibly prescribe the whole kit for a single patient? At most you might have one illness. ---

BTW, I checked; the kit is $300 and the medications are all generic so I expect the actual cost at about a tenth of that. ---

As a NASCAR fan (especially for this weekend’s Atlanta race which is about to restart at midnight), we have been subjected to innumerable airings of what I consider to be the Kars4Kids of cellular service. That is the Zoe Saldana T-Mobile ad in which she obnoxiously bemoans the lack of loud (audible and visual) production in the commercial, penultimately adding, “I should dance…” followed by what can best be described as an impersonation of Elaine Benes with a Red Bull drip. She ultimately has a stunt double perform a back flip from a living room ottoman, adding “nailed it.” I’m fairly happy with Verizon, but I know that if I ever have to migrate to another provider, it will NOT be T-Mobile because of this junior college film class homage to “The Room.” ---

The so-called “Department of War” has been running this commercial with some words from Trump and a brief on-screen appearance from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. I’ve been seeing an ad for Martin guitars, specifically the D-28. For those who are not up on guitars, the D-28 is one of the iconic models of acoustic guitars. The jarring thing is that the music playing over the ad is an electric guitar.
