Yeah, what is up with that ridiculous crappy-ass animation? Since it’s a national ad it presumably had a big budget, so I assume an aesthetic choice was made for some marketing reason. But it looks like someone said “hey, my nephew has been playing around with animation on his computer— maybe he can do it”. ---

There’s one I hate not because it’s irritating (which it is) but because it’s evil. “We do it every night” “We do it after every meal” “I live alone and I do it every day” What is it they do? Run their dishwasher, because it takes less water to run a specific efficient type of dishwasher that it does to run the tap for ten minutes. How convenient that while Cascade is saving the planet by conserving water, they also happen to be quadrupling their soap sales. Don’t normal people put dirty dishes in the dishwasher and then just use clean ones from the cupboard and run the dishwasher when it’s full? ---

It helps when you are poor and try to run the dishwasher 4 times a most. The first time I saw this commercial I thought a thought I have a lot while watching TV. ‘Wow, TV people have a lot more money than I do!’ A thought that also occurs a lot when on cable’s Discover (old people) channels that show so many “Tacticool” things to buy. ---

That’s what I do, unless the dishes are spectacularly dirty (for example, if I’ve used them in preparing hamburgers). However, when I was growing up, the dishwasher was often run after every meal because each person would eat something different…Mom still tends to stick to this habit, even if the dishwasher isn’t really full. ---

I don’t get it - what difference does it make if every person ate something different? Unless you mean that this resulted in so many dirty dishes the dishwasher was full ( or nearly so ) after every meal. ---

I hate the new Skippy peanut butter commercial. A mom who has to zone out with a peanut butter fix because she hates being with her kids. (however… it is a good commercial in that it reinforces the name of the product in the visual and the jingle.) I still hate it. ---

Does anyone else think the ad where the witch turns the girl into a cat is creepy? I mean _reallly realllly_ creepy? I think it must be a Geico ad. Because they always creep me out the most.
