I’m 44. I look mid-thirties, I act mid-thirties, and I feel mid-thirties. Mid-thirties were great years for me and I’d love to go back and do them again, maybe change a few things. When my mother was 44 she was old. She’d been married twenty years, had three kids who were already teenagers, and never did anything goofy, wacky or silly. Of course, it could be that she was just a very boring person but memory tells me that she was not boring – she was just an old fart who didn’t partake in “tomfoolery.” Or maybe it was just that beehive hairdo that made her look old. That’ll do it every time. ---
