Hope your bees are OK **nut**. **swampy** , I’m not sure what area they shipped them to, but our local power company (MTEMC) sent a crew to help with the hurricane and tornado stricken areas. If you see one of the trucks, wave. 🙂 I irked until three, knocked off, picked up some groceries, took Nelson to the dog park (he got to play on the big dog side), swung through the BBQ joint (they put a pup cup in for him) and came home for chillage. The weather has become cool enough that I may be turning on the heat soon (you folks up north probably laugh at the thought of mid sixties being cool enough for heat) and will put a pot of chili on sometime this weekend. ---

Cornbread is good stuff. Mrs. Plant, v.3.0 makes cornbread almost as good as Grandmother. Grandmother had the black skillet hot from the oven before she but the stuff in. ---

My first soccer game tomorrow is at 8:30am, so I expect to have to layer up; but at least it’s not 90F and burning skin sunny. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 56 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 80 and N.O.S. for the day. Another nice mornin’ to open up da cave windows. The plan of the day is to do more yahd cleanup. Need to rake up a bunch of little twigs and sticks and such. Won’t be too bad. Also, one more load of limbs to take to the landfill, which is open today. Next up will be figurin’ what to do about replacin’ the fence. Still no power over to the church house so don’t know about tomorrow yet. I envision ham, N.O.T. sallit, and green beans for sup. Gonna put the ham on to bake this afternoon. I need to gas twuck up so I may go brave that today. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day. Rah. Happy Sattidy Y’all! ---

Happy Saturday! It’s a rainy 48 degrees outside. Yukky day. I don’t know what the temp is inside, but I suppose we should turn off the AC and turn on the heat. I slept in this morning, all the way until 8. If the bladder hadn’t been complaining I’d still be asleep. We have to pick up groceries at noon. BRRRRRRRR! **WetOne** ---

Woke around 3 for what I thought was my usual middle-of-the-night bladder voidage, but I ended up running back and forth to the bathroom for the next 90 minutes. Had I been fevered or something, I’d have thought I was sick, but it was just a gastro-intestinal event of epic proportions! (How’s that for TMI?!?) Eventually, I was able to fall back to sleep, and I finally dragged out of bed shortly after 7. I brought home McBreakfast for my sweetie and me - he’s having to rewrite the tool path for his heat sink and he wanted to get right to it. My plans for the day will have to change, since it’s raining - no laundry hanging out and no leaf-mulchage. We shall see what I decide. I heard from an old Navy friend yesterday - she and I were in training and in the same squadron from late '73 till I left in '76, and she now lives in the DC area. She just had a hip replacement. Dang, my friends are old!!! :eek::eek: Happy Saturday!! ---

Awake. Hmmm? Not sure if that’s true. Cats alarmed me howling for their grub. Lazy dogs haven’t ventured out of their warm beds. I hope they stay sleepy awhile longer. I have to now go out with them for morning toilet because we have feral pigs in the vicity. Mr.Wrekker says they would happily kill little dogs for a snack Saturday and I will be happy ( or else!)🙂 happy day y’all. . ---

**flytrap** , I still make cornbread in the cast iron skillet occasionally. I’ll likely make a batch of corn muffins this afternoon to go with the chili in the pot. Tis a chilly, lazy day.
