Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S01E05: Girl in the Flower Dress

2 little pockets and a flash card holder.

Playing Battleship is an allegory for “guess my secret”. (or, “Where’s your weak spot?”)

They didn’t look so little to me!

Too hot.

Literally.

Yep, I was nitpicking during that scene too, until she grinned - I am a sucker for a gorgeous smile - that’s when my brain simply shut down.

Yeah, the first shot back from commercial break is her putting her bra straps back on. She’s pretty clearly been naked while the rest of us were watching Hyundai commercials, and has just started getting dressed again.

Her boyfriend still wearing his shorts in bed is a bit harder to justify.

Is that a flash card in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

That’s a good point. But it still left Stratego as a better choice for the metaphor.

I’m guessing he didn’t finish taking them off in time.

In an amusing coincidence, Shannon Lucio was also a guest star on this week’s episode of “Supernatural”, which, around here, aired immediately after “Agents of SHIELD”.

And, who didn’t see them playing a game coming with the super serious words that started that scene off?

Particularly since that is exactly how they ENDED the previous episode, with tech geek & agent guy playing cards.

It’s too bad they killed the bad guy off so quickly. He already had such a great catch phrase “Almost got SCORCHED!”

First rule of survival in a superhero universe: If you don’t have the body, it’s not dead, and even then… Given that this is the Marvel universe, for all we know, that ball of fire that came out of the top of the building WAS Scorch (remember The Claw, before the Dazzler ate him?).

Or as we say in the comic book business: He’s dead but he’s not Uncle Ben dead.
