I’m not sure which TV Trope that Ward’s newbadassery is, but I do know that he’s had his Boring Handsome butt kicked a few times already - Daisy shot him up a few episodes ago, and Melinda May nailed his foot to the floor at the end of one of those seasons. Grrrl power! I hope Buffy shows up and pounds on him. ---

We don’t know for sure that NASA was involved or whether it was a Hydra operation all the time. Either way, the big point that I’ve been waiting for Fitz to realize is that whoever it was knew how to keep the portal open long enough to transfer four people and a complete exploration base and supplies through. That’s a heck of a lot more than a few seconds when the moons are in the seventh house. ---

When Ward was fighting off the mooks, I kept thinking someone should do a mash-up of that scene with the background dialogue and music from The Music Man: “We hear there’s a pool hall in town! Trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for Pool!” ---

I had wondered about that myself, but it appears that the Portal will grab everything on the same horizontal plane as it when it goes all gushy. ---

The whole Portal thing makes no sense. They keep sending people in, but nothing comes back. How do they know there’s \*anything \*there? Maybe it goes to the heart of a black hole. ---
