Personally, I think a prehensile tongue and an oral fixation could be a very endearing combination. ---

I believe there were restrictions on using the former “putz” smiley, now retired, with reference to other posters outside the Pit. ---

We have a complaint that this thread generates an automatic download. As in all complaints of this nature we need more information. I am querying the complainant now but I also need to give you all a heads up and I am soliciting for more information. Let me repeat the instructions we give when there might be an instance of malware on the board – please let us know what you see, if anything. f you think you see malware on the SDMB If an ad on the SDMB has given you problems, please provide the following info if possible: 1. Time/date of occurrence. 2. Screenshot of the questionable ad (on PCs you can do this with Alt-Print Screen, then copy into Word, Paint, etc.), or a description of the ad. 3. Description of what happened. Did you click anything? If you were redirected, what URL were you directed to? Describe any related window or pop-up. 4. Am I reading this wrong, **Tuba** , or are you suggesting that this thread - and by implication the GB ads themselves - contains malware, **Tuba**? Because if so, that’s a pretty serious insinuation to be making. ---

\ No such thing, **Scissorjack**. We received a report from a reader that this thread contained a download that contained malware. We’ve been bit by this a couple of times. We’re not the only ones that have been bit. Please notice **TubaDiva** ’s post. It’s straight, to the point, and is almost exactly the same as the posts she has placed in other threads that we have received malware reports about. \ Whew. Now that I’m out of those damned mod tags: Stop being so damned sensitive about anything that mods and admins do. Did you ever stop to think that maybe we’re trying to help? ---
