Aimee Mann’s new album, _Lost in Space_, is being released on August 23. As a favor to her fans, she has put the whole album up in streaming audio on her official website, [http://www.aimeemann.com](http://www.aimeemann.com) . It will be available to listen to, track by track, until the release date, and listeners who pre-order the album will get a bonus CD with two non-album tracks. As a big fan of hers myself, I always like to expose new listeners to her music, so check it out!

Oh, wow. **pldennison** , for providing that link, you are officially my New Favorite Poster. (Don’t let the honor go to your head.) Just pre-ordered the CD, now it’s time to check out the streaming video. Thank you for the heads up.

And if anyone reading this hasn’t heard Aimee Mann, check out the link, or better yet, go out and buy _Bachelor No. 2_. Mann is the single most criminally underappreciated artist still working today.

Streaming audio, I meant. And it’s freakin’ fantastic.

I’ve liked Aimee Mann ever since I saw _Magnolia_ and heard her amazing music for that film. Since then, I’ve been hooked. She’s amazing.

Thanks for the tip, **pldennison**!

I, too, have been a fan since I heard her music in _Magnolia_. I’ve since collected all of her albums (minus the _'Til Tuesday_ fluff). Thanks for the heads-up, I had no idea she had a new one coming out.

Taking a break to listen…

Great stuff. I don’t think it’s as sonically adventurous as _Bachelor No. 2_, which I think is a pop masterpiece, but her songwriting abilities are still top notch. She’s got my pre-order.
