Spokane’s progressive talk station is also owned by Clear Channel. It’s not exactly the same as Air America - their lineup includes Thom Hartmann, Stephanie Miller, and Ed Schultz, who I know from Sirius’s TalkLeft but I don’t think they’re actually part of AAR.
True. Just as citing Amazon’s “readers also bought…” is incredibly inredibly lazy, saying “hey, I’m right because… here, read this book!” is also pretty lazy.
You’re all being very, very lazy. I’m sleepy…
Well, I think what actually rendered them moot was when Peter dreamt that a watery tart threw a lobster at him. Nothing about the crucifixtion itself actually said anything about shellfish: that was a later interpretation based on Jesus’ apparent disdain for Jewish morality.
Oh crap. How lazy am I to not even check to see if im in the right the thread?
What can I do? It’s a whole book, still copyright protected – there’s no online text to which I could link, and there are limits (imposed by my own available time, by Board rules, and by copyright law) to how much of the original text I could transcribe and post.
I could – will, I hope, someday soon – start a separate thread summarizing the book’s key points and offering them up for debate. (But before I do that I want to read Was the 2004 Election Stolen? which I have on order at the library, so I’ll have as complete a picture as possible.) But even then, if somebody responds to a point with “Cite?” all I’ll be able to do in most instances is reproduce the relevant footnote or endnote, rather than linking to an online source. The Internet ain’t the world’s complete library yet.
Ah yes, the guy who rushed out after the election saying his calculations showed that the odds of the exit polls being wrong were 250,000,000:1. Then when his calculations were questioned he said: Oops, it should be 664,000:1. Seems like his calcuations have an unnervingly high margin of error associated with them. Anyway, I hope you also plan to read this point-by-point rebuttal to Freemans’ claims here (warning: PDF).
Well, of course the exits polls were wrong! Hell, who would admit to voting for Bush?
Ask the Dixie Chicks if they are benign.
