If these people consider themselves Russian, and they want Russian passports, and they want to swear allegiance to Putin and Russia - I have an idea where they might move. ---

Those are Russian Ukrainians Putin has already offered citizenship to. I wouldn’t call them refugees, I’d call them emigres. Let them go. Apparently Russia is short on cheap labor. ---

The fact that they didn’t feel the urge to leave until a civil war broke out in their country , makes me think that ‘refugee’ is the appropriate term. ---
