Now that I’m fed and more coherent… Due to the administration’s apparently never having seen _The Princess Bride_ and getting us into an Asian land war, Airman was unable to transfer to the Texas Air National Guard. After some discussion earlier this spring, I decided that after I gave birth and after a decent recovery time, that I would move to Pennsylvania. My career travels fairly well, and I’ve lived in Central PA and kinda missed it, actually. And since Dave’s family lives there, it’s not like we’re going to be alone or anything. (Um, Gramma? Wanna babysit Saturday? ;)) Hence the **AirmanRobynBabyDope**. Yes, my parents aren’t thrilled with it, but it’s not Little House on the Prairie. They will see us at least twice a year, what with the miracle of airline travel. The moving date is scheduled tentatively for September 17th, assuming a normal delivery and all. So, we’ll see you on the 5th! Robin ---

As most of you know, **Airman Doors, USAF** and **MsRobyn** are having a banner year in 2002. Not only are they getting married this Saturday in beautiful Biloxi, Mississippi [sub]Congratulations, you crazy kids![/sub], they’re also expecting a bundle of joy this August. (A kid, not a Hickory Farms gift pack). After the child arrives, the lovely and talented **MsRobyn** will be relocating to central Pennsylvania to set up housekeeping with her recently-graduated-from-Air-Force-tech-school hubby **Airman Doors**. Over the past several months, the happy couple and I have been discussing appropriate ways of commemorating these important milestones. After hours upon hours of agonizing effort and untold millions spent on planning and logistical studies, we’ve hit upon the perfect answer. To celebrate these momentous occasions the happy couple and I have joined forces to produce. . . ::cue theme from “2001”:: **AirmanRobynBabyDope @ Fabulous Castell Zappo**! **Who:** Our fellow Dopers **What:** An evening of libations, light fare and convivial Doper fellowship to celebrate the union of our friends **MsRobyn** and **Airman Doors, USAF** [sub]the lucky dog[/sub] **Where:** Fabulous Castell Zappo, the palatial 1200 square foot **Zappo** family estate in beautiful suburban Harrisburg, PA, an easy drive from Baltimore, New York, and just about everywhere else (except maybe Australia or Yurp). **When:** Saturday, October 5, 2002 5 PM ‘till it’s over **Why:** Because we said so, dammit. This evening is open to all of y’all, be you MAD’s, Midwesterners (paging Mr. **Shibb** and Mr. **DeDay** ), or otherwise. Hell, if some of our Aussie friends wanna come we’ll throw a couple extra slabs of scrapple on the skillet and give youse a real Pennsylvania welcome! 😉 So whattya say? I might be able to come down, if for no other reason than to see the cocktail stirrers I gave Zappo! for Christmas. So are they actually in use, or sitting in your closet? :rolleyes: And I _guess_ it’d be cool to see Dave and Robin and lil Dave…the cocktail stirrers are definitely at the top of my list though:p ---
