Pretty amazing, watching them back to back. Zero Hour is played totally straight, yet it made me laugh, having just seen Airplane!. ---

_Zero Hour!_ was in turn a remake of [_Flight Into Dange_r](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_into_danger), a Canadian TV production, written by Arthur Hailey (later of _Airport_), with a young James Doohan. ---

It was hard to watch ZO after Airplane!, my brain kept inserting Airplane! lines, that is when I wasn’t MST3K’ing it… Hey, there’s an idea, have Mike Nelson and the Rifftrax crew release a 'Trax for Zero Hour, even _without_ the Airplane! refs, it has plenty of spots for riffing ---

Having just watched _The Crowded Sky_, one of many crappy aviation movies he made, I can safely say that _Airplane!_ should have had Dana Andrews as the captain, not Peter Graves. If only his health had permitted it.
