I don’t know how well “The Russians are Coming” has held up, but I sure loved it, and Alan Arkin, when it first came out.

“The In-laws” (with him and Falk of course) is one of those movies I’m always trying to foist off on people. - Here! Watch this!!

and “Wait Until Dark” is a great film.

He had a very moving speech in the 1985 movie Bad Medicine, a movie I like but which is apparently so unpopular that Netflix doesn’t even carry it. Arkin isn’t the star but is definitely the most compelling character.
Warning, Steve Guttenberg is in it.
