Saw it on VHS way back when, did not remember anything except the casino scene. Rediscovered it, have watched 4 times in the past month or so Just brilliant, so many great scenes, most beautifully understated. Favorite scenes or lines? ---

I saw it many years ago, on VHS as well. The only thing I remember is “nest egg”. Should definitely give it a re-watch. ---

My favorite scene wasn’t even in the movie. In the beginning, when Brooks tosses his watch out of the Winnebago and the soundtrack cranks up _Born to Be Wild_, some totally pretentious cinema snob in the theater said “Ugh, how blatant!” ---
