I sometimes buy albums simply because I like the sound of their titles. (It also helps when the cover art is pretty neat too.) I know it’s a terribly strange and expensive way to try out new music, especially if the album turns out to be crap. But sometimes I get lucky… Some albums I bought because I liked their titles: This Mortal Coil - It’ll End In Tears Cocteau Twins - Heaven Or Las Vegas Fairground Attraction - First of a Million Kisses INXS - Listen Like Thieves Blur - Modern Life is Rubbish The Pixies - Come On Pilgrim Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes Jeff Buckley - (Sketches for) My Sweetheart the Drunk Most of these I bought when they first appeared, so I had no idea what they sounded like. Thank heavens they turned out to be pretty good. Anyone here does the same? ---
