I’ll give it a miss. Wouldn’t have wanted to see it without all the behind-the-scenes drama, since Westerns aren’t really my thing. To me, it would seem almost ghoulish to watch it now, unless I could be sure that every cent I paid to do so went to Halyna Hutchins’ family. ---

And I really hope she used at least some of that time to consider alternate careers. Even if she still wants to be a film armorer, we can hope she’s solidly blacklisted by the industry at this point. Can’t imagine any insurer would touch a production she’s armorer for, either. ---

I would think that a felony conviction would bar her from any career that involves firearms. But IANAL. Either way, it is inconceivable to me that she would work as an armorer again. ---

I could imagine a woe-is-me victim narrative doing very well for her, particularly if she’s willing to shill herself out to the “right” podcasts and throw in some appealing partisan drivel. Honestly, I’d be mildly impressed if she goes any other way. ---

She has a couple advantages though. 1. Famous dad with lots of connections in the entertainment industry. 2. Familiarity with a film set and working on one. While she might never (and absolutely should never) be an armorer again, other crew jobs with less responsibility and liability might be possible. ---
