In a street fight. No rules. Who would win? I’m leaning towards Trebek. He’s bigger and a couple of years younger. But then again, Philbin is small but wiry. He’d probably be a bit faster. What do you think? Tawk aboudit. ---

Easy, Alex. I have this mental image of Regis and him standing in the street ready to fight. Alex would turn to Rege and say " Look, your shoe is untied." I gotta go with Reg. I have this image of Reg really on the attack, with Alex trying to talk his way out of it, getting his butt kicked in the meantime. I’ve seen Reg in T-shirt, the guy looks damn good. * * * Madness takes it’s toll… So does New Jersey. ---

Alex has worked his way up through the TV je ne sais quoi with aplomb, lending a semblence of intellect to the wasteland. Regis wormed his way up through small time LA TV, then hooked up with Plastic Kathy and insinuated himself into the comatose heart of America. Regis would go for the throat, before the gauntlet ever hit the ground. Oh I dunno, Alex just looks tougher than Regis. Plus I can’t shake this image of Regis down on the ground being kicked by Alex and all he can say is “is that your final kick?” And happily, the answer won’t be yes. * * * …For the glory of Ed Zotti. ---

Hey, don’t forget, Trebek is a Canuck. He’ll have that Canadian inferiority complex working against him. And no one can deny that Philbin is a sneaky, devious little weasel. If he doesn’t let Trebek in too close, he’ll tire him out and maybe catch him with a sneaky pete. ---

I’m putting my money on Reg. He strikes me as being a little bit street. I have a feeling Reggie got in quite a few scaps as a youngin’. Plus, he’d be sneaky. Alex would stick to the rules, Regis would pull a sucker punch to the kidney. * * * A little persistance goes a long way. Announcing: “I go on guilt trips a couple of time a year. Common! No ones pulling for my boy Alex! Yeah Reg looks scrappy but I think’s he’s a bit of a nancy-boy. We all agree that Reg must have been in fights a lot as a child, so I think he’ll be use to getting his ass kicked.
