Alien was a popular film, and now has a zillion spinoffs in novels, comics, and movies. Theyve sold a lot of Alien merchandise, but I’m amazed at some of the things they’ve marketed: 1.) I already feel like I’m in an Alien movie with my CPAP - as one of the engineers. CPAPs, however necessary, are a drag. Anything that makes them more fun is OK in my book. ---

They also made plastic models of the “Bugs” from _Starship Troopers_ as kids’ toys, even though that was rated “R”, too. And they never , to my knowledge, made or marketed a single action figure from _John Carter Warlord of Mars_. They set that film up to fail.
