All objects are moving along the time axis, which brings forces into play regardless of visible motion.
There’s also the Brownian motion of excited atoms.

To my eyes, the pyramids look to be about 100,000 times more difficult to construct than those other monuments, considering the size of the blocks and the height of the structure. No racism involved. I have heard people claim that _any_ massive stone structure was made by aliens, including European ones.

The origin of a lot of this nonsense was Erich von Däniken’s _Chariots of the Gods?_, which did in fact claim that Stonehenge was built by aliens. It’s equal opportunity bullshit.

This may be subjective, but while Stonehendge, Newgrange, and Skara Brae are pretty damned cool they’re nowhere near as impressive as the Great Pyramid of Giza or Machu Picchu. I do think Stonehendge was specifically mentioned in Chariot of the Gods as possibly being constructed by extra terrestrial life though. I’ve met one woman who believed the ancient Egyptians were much more advanced than we are today. She actually went to Egypt and flat out believes we couldn’t build such a structure today.

I know this is a joke, but in pursuit of the Straight Dope we should mention that the Hebrews didn’t build the pyramids. Too early.
There is even doubt that the people who did build them were slaves.

More likely they were ordinary people, performing building works as some kind of devotional act - perhaps the same model that explains the construction of Stonehenge and other ancient megastructures around the world. People built these things because they wanted to, or were paid to do so.

Yes, perhaps the ancient Egyptians enslaved the Kryptonians. A bit of Red Kryptonite would do the trick. Of course, one single Kryptonian would probably be able to do it all by themself.
