Addendum: however, when the entire medium is all-caps, so it would not even be possible to type in mixed case, that distinction disappears ---

For those times when you do want to shout something from the rooftops, there are also Sᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘɪᴛᴀʟꜱ, and the truly mind-blowing _Iᴛᴀʟɪᴄ Sᴍᴀʟʟ Cᴀᴘɪᴛᴀʟꜱ_ ---
