This whole Subway question is a moot point. I believe everyone agrees that Smollett did in fact visit a Subway at the time he claimed and make a purchase there.
The issues raised in connection with the Subway visit were 1) whether he had a genuine reason to visit a Subway at that odd hour or did it as part of the setup, and 2) the fact that after the “attack” he made it home still clutching his Subway purchase, not having lost it during the “fight”, raised suspicions that the attack was bogus.
Well you have to realize that this is a guy who is a big enough star that he was recognized in the dark by two redneck Trumpists and attacked on that basis. A guy like that needs to be very carefull.
I’m just saying, if two guys jumped me in the middle of the night I’d definitely take at least one swing with that sandwich at them.

Repeatedly declaring that he is not suicidal is Jussie setting up act 2 of this persecution drama. There will be another attack on him while he is in jail, made to look like a suicide attempt, that will prove that he is not safe in jail and must be released, all set up by Jussie.
This is not a very bright person and his narcistic ego will not let this rest, it can’t. Does anyone think that he is going to quietly sit in jail for 150 days?
He is not going to be in jail for 150 days; I have read it will be half that (time off for good behavior), so only 75 days.
