Valerie, Myself, Gaudere, Inertia, Magdalene, Boli and umm… GLWasteful (am I right there?) went out for breakfast. So I’m assuming that they all made it home alive since we all had time to sleep it off and eat greasy breakfast food at the bowling alley’s attached resturant. ---

I would have sat with you at the airport to wait for your flight, but I was so freaking tired that I couldn’t hardly see straight anymore. Funny this is, I couldn’t remember where I parked my car (I knew what deck level, but couldn’t remember exactly which section). It took me almost 45 minutes to find my car. You never realize how truly large that parking deck is until you have to walk the entire thing. I think I put five miles on my legs over the last couple of days and now they are sore. Anyways, I got to meet the nicest, bestest, coolest group of people ever to walk this earth. Just do us a favor and don’t ask Valerie about the cleavage meter ( 😉 😉 ) ---

Strangely enough, I am not hung over today, despite the 4 splits of champagne (which is more than a bottle), 3 rum and cokes, plus a couple of shots. Dehydrated, but no headache. Usually I’m sick as a dog when I mix; I can only attribute this atypical response to being in the company of Dopers. So when are we doing this again? 😉 And I have to say the prospect of meeting all you folks gave me a _big_ case of jitters - good thing I chugged those first few glasses of champagne to calm my nerves. ---

I’m here but barely. the party was a blast, I made it home a lot quicker than I thought and was too tired to check the board until just now. My second party this afternoon with 17 3 + 4 year olds almost did me in! It was great to meet so many of you and I’m already thinking about our next get together. Hey **Milo** , are you going to get **Jess** here to gloat about the high score in bowling? A big round of applause for **Valerieblaise** who made it all happen, kicked our butts to get organized, dealt with the hoteliers from HELL, and still managed to not kill **Omni** 😃 An even bigger round of applause for **porcupine** for showing what must have been superhuman restraint on her part and not demonstrating just how wonderful her “little friend” was :eek: **SILENT-BOB** , the cake was very welcome! Does anyone else find it ironic that he works in an industry based upon maikng it easier to talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime? I’ll write more later but I can’t think too well at the moment! ---

I just woke up from a nap and do I clean my room? No. Do I take a walk outside? No. I check the board. Is there some kind of 12-step recovery program for message board addicts? Somewhere on the 'Net, maybe? 😉 I think my clearest memory is of stepping off the shuttle just as you guys were waiting for it to take you to the restaurant. I was running late, worried about catching up with everyone, but I knew 20 complete strangers discussing the “tit shelf”, and then pointing to me and saying “she has a tit shelf” had to be the right group. I had a great time. It was great to put faces to the names. It was weird to introduce myself with my screen name and to yell “Hey, Vile Orb! Go Inertia!” across a bowling alley. It was a voyage of self-discovery. I am a terrible bowler, and I make worse coffee than Jophiel bowls. Silent Bob was the loudest person at the dinner table, and could make himself heard above a crowded bowling alley. Isn’t it, you know, ironic? SAXFACE, Boli, I LOVE YOU!!! And they are gonna be selling the toenail clippings and used tampons of Valerieblaise outside the Vatican someday. The woman is the saint of party-throwing. Ugh…typing hurts. ---
