**Fenris** , I am fairly sure that most of what I have listed can be found in NM. And if it comes to it, you could always hop on over to East and get geared up. As for other areas to run … Arcane isn’t bad, though you probably can’t run that in Hell (PI dudes will fuxx0r your mana). Run it in NM, though the items that can be dropped are not all that high (TC of 40s, maybe, which means no buriza, for one, and no valk wing helm). If you can run Worldstone 2 to Baal in NM, you should do pretty decently there. The other thing to do is see if you can get a rush to hell cows (when I’ve rushed people for pay, it’s usually been for the drops and forge). Once there, leveling will be very easy and you should hit 80 within a few hours, if that. If you want to switch to East (say you mf more and run more stuff and it just isn’t happening), I’d be happy to help you out:) BTW, another note on the items I’ve listed: I have been MFing with good regularity since last _January_. I have found razortail six times, maybe. I’ve found six burizas, about six kukos, one shako in the world, one Tal’s armor, Gladiator’s Bane twice (a fluke, really, but I have a perfect spawn so I’m not complaining), Arkaine’s, one Eaglehorn (no windforce), one doombringer (horked, and no lightsabre or grandfather), etc. Most of what I’ve found are good rare jewelry and such and exceptional uniques. Oh, and lots of set things. But my MF has been between mid 400s and high 900s (when merc got last hit and the planets were aligned). You’ll be more likely to find stuff occasionally regardless of where you run than running meph a bunch, becuse 210 mf just is not a whole lot. Plus it’s NM. My suggestion would be to put on your tanking gear and just go kill a lot of stuff. ---

you can try doing NM Baal, or the combination of easy access super uniques of Eldritch, Shenk, Thresh and Pindle. Eldritch is the Extra Fast guy by the Frigid Waypoint, Shenk is the guy that yields the socket quest at the end of bloody foothills or near Frigid waypoint as well. Pindle is the guy by the red portal near Anya (you should be able to see the red portal if you hadn’t killed Nihthalak (sp?) AND (not or) gotten the Halls of Pain waypoint. Thresh Socket is the guy at the first Barbarian Cage/Jail you find. They should be ok to hit on and off. But again, your best bet is to harvest NM Meph and try and net some decent items that are usuable for all char classes. From there you can start hoarding normal sets, normal uniques, exceptional sets and exceptional uniques. You can’t find Elite sets or Elite uniques with NM Meph. Jewels are used in crafting recipes, they also have some decent modifiers at higher lvls. Modifiers like 15% IAS (increased attack speed), upto 40% ED (enhanced Dmg), Max dmg modifiers, Min Dmg Modifiers, elemental dmg modifiers and more that can be found here… [http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/magic/jewels.shtml](http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/magic/jewels.shtml) ---

In any event, don’t activate the waypoint. ---

The portal doesn’t disappear _in that game_. Been lagging pretty hard so far today, **Fenris**. I’m gonna get online to run some stuff, but I’ll be on with my 96 burizon and my 88 novasorc so I won’t have to look hard for a char to use to rush you (I generally use the sorc up until Hell, maybe late NM, and then switch to the zon up until hell baal and then use the barb for baal. If I’m alone with my rushee, that is). ---

Well, dammit, that leaves me and my son all alone on west now… I do have two low-lifes in East, I’ll pop by when I get a chance and muck it up with you guys too…Voltaire was nice enough to give me some items. I got my son hooked on DII again and we went out and bought a second set of disks so we can be online simultaneously. My middle son’s birthday is today, so I might not be on tonight until after 10 PDT or so, I’ll check in periodically. Fenris, I was on for quite awhile on SDMB / West this weekend, I would have glady run you through hell. Anyways, have fun and kill…KILL… **KILL**! ---

Hi all, this is my first post at this site. I was wondering if any of you have any advice for a c/c assasin. I just DLd the .10 patch and got stuck at NM level. So I created a new assasin and started from scratch. any hints as to point allocation or equipment I should shoot for? I need something that will be good up untill about level 50 or 60. ---
