Ohio is the Midwest? I always claim it as part of the Decaying Industrial Northeast.
At least the part I came from, Harvey Pekarland. The great city of Cleveland.
I left for parts east at age 17, but do go back occasionally for kielbasa and Vernor’s.

Asey, Harvey did a book five years ago called MY CANCER YEAR, about getting through cancer with the help of his wife, Joyce. Four Walls Eight Windows pubbed it; it’s atill available on Amazon.
I used to buy AMERICAN SPLENDOR religiously every year when it came out…issue #1 is the only underground comic in my extensive collection I’ve bothered to put into a plastic bag.
I kinda gave up on it seven or eight years ago. After Harvey started doing all that Letterman stuff I lost interest.
Drew Carey has GHOULARDI T-SHIRTS??? I want one I want one IwantoneIwantoneIwantoneIWANTONE!!!
